Dredging of silted rivers in Binmaley, ongoing. Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. (right of upper left photo) waves at the machine operators (upper right photo) during his ocular inspection of the ongoing dredging operation and dismantling of illegal structures (lower photo) along the river of Brgy. Dupo in Binmaley. The provincial government recently imported two dredging machines directly from the United States of America to clear the rivers from silt and prevent unnecessary flooding during the onslaught of typhoons. The river rehabilitation project is implemented through the Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council headed by Ret. Col. Paterno M. Orduña (left of left photo). (PIO photo by Bob Sison)
