Pangasinan history comes alive along the streets of Lingayen

Thousands of Pangasinenses (left photo) endure the scorching heat of the sun to gleefully watch the history of Pangasinan unfolds during the float and civic parade along the major thoroughfares of Lingayen last April 5. The parade dubbed “Parada na Dayew Mi” featured 12 major eras starting from the Pre-Hispanic to Pangasinan Golden Era under the administration of Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. Right photo shows the float participants as they immortalized the dramatic and action-pack scene during the Philippine-American War in 1899. (PIO Photo)
