Provl Govt & Habitat for Humanity outpour assistance to barangayfolks

Gov. Amado T. Espino, Jr. (upper left photo, 3rd from right) distributes construction materials to the families of Sitio Aplaya, Brgy. Pangapisan Norte in Lingayen whose houses were destroyed by typhoons last 2009.  Each of the 256 affected families have benefitted from shelter repair kit worth P7,000.  Each kit contains six roof sheets, four flexiboards, various sizes of coco lumber, nails and hand tools such as handsaw, hammer and screw driver.  Witnessing the ceremonial turnover last February 17 at Aplaya Elementary School in Pangapisan Norte are (from right) Brgy. Councilor Roland Ledina, Habitat’s Government Partnership Relations Officer Gladys Ledina, Lingayen Mayor Jonas C. CastaƱeda, Provincial Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer Alvin L. Bigay (hidden) and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Emilio Samson.
