Provincial government sports consultant Modesto Operaña congratulates Lany Cardona (center) for leading the Pangasinan team in reaping medals during the three-day MILO-National Open Invitational Track and Field Championships 2009 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center (NRSCC) in Lingayen slated on May 10-12. Cardona, a native of Bolinao and a college student of Centrex-Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation in San Carlos City harvested four golds and 1 silver in the following events: 800-m run, 5000-m run, 3000-m run, 1500-m run and 10000-m run.
